Tanner Thursday - Police Shootings, Injustice, & Change

Podzilla 1985 is back after a week off and hit the ground running with an emotional episode dedicated to the horrific shootings by police officers that have occurred this week. Seanán, Jesse, and Lindsey lament the tragic cases of Philando Castile, Alton Sterling, and the pandemic of violence that is strangling the United States. Plus - breaking news about a shooting in Dallas at a peace vigil that has left officers dead.

Tanner Thursday - Our Favorite Pokémon!

Our Pokémon love continues this week, and we tackle an obvious topic that we amazingly haven't touched in the 15 months we've been operational - our favorite Pokémon of all time! Join Seanán, Ethan, Jesse, and Lindsey as they reveal their picks. Spoiler alert - NO ONE PICKED MR. MIME. The Thursday gang also talk about the newly released Ghostbusters remix by Fallout Boy and Missy Elliot, and as usual, the internet has already said more than we will ever need to.

Tanner Thursday - e3 Edition

We're winding down another incredible e3 week, and we saved all of the Pokémon goodness for Thursday! We may be Tannerless, but Lindsey has all the new info revealed at e3 about Pokémon Sun, Moon, and Go! Plus - we go over some of the e3 news we missed on Tuesday's show, and we make things awkward with our own trainer battle intros!

Tanner Thursday - Brock Turner Fallout & Video Game Movies

Brock Turner's 6 month sentence looks to be even smaller, and the gang can't quite grasp the continued mockery of justice. However, our main topic tonight is a discussion about video game film adaptations in the wake of Friday's Warcraft release. We talk about the good, the bad, the ugly, and eventually it breaks down into a baffling discussion of old computer games that Seanán has never heard of.

Tanner Thursday - Harambe & Movie to TV Translations

Split show tonight - our first half deals with the tragedy surrounding the death of endangered gorilla Harambe at the Cincinnati Zoo, and in the second part of the evening we talk about the nature of voice acting along with our favorite TV shows adapted from film. Tanner Thursday - Ghostbusters, Adam Sandler, & More!

This week is all about movies. Hear us rant about the new Ghostbusters reboot, as diehard fan Seanán opens up the floodgates of rage against those who have harshly and unfairly judged the new film without seeing it. Lindsey and Jesse join him to discuss Bill Murray's baffling refusal to return to the franchise, when Adam Sandler stopped being fun, the Suicide Squad, trailers, 100 million reasons to play James Bond, Madea, and we ask the important question - why the hell does the new Tetris film cost 80 million to make?!

Tanner Thursday - George Zimmerman, Gun Control, and Pokemon Sun/Moon

In a throwback to the days of old, we get real angry and real NSFW on this week's episode. Murderer George Zimmerman attempted to sell the same gun that killed Trayvon Martin, and has been met with the proper venom that he deserves. Seanán becomes enraged as he laments this travesty of justice and good taste, while Jesse and Dalton discuss the problems with gun ownership in the United States. Meanwhile, Lindsey just wants to talk about Pokémon, and the gang does in a late show preview of next week's Nerd Up.

Tannerless Thursday - Being Awkward with Girls, Being Poor, and More

Tanner is still MIA, but this week Seanán, Ethan, Jesse, and Lindsey are in the studio to (not) celebrate Cinco de Mayo, reveal their most awkward encounters with the opposite sex, reminisce on growing up poor, swimming pools, Power Rangers, and much more. Just another week at PZ85!

Tannerless Thursday - Warcraft, Blizzard, MMO's, Chyna, Prince, & the $20 Bill

In this week's episode, we had a whole list of important topics to cover. And then we just talked about Warcraft for like forty minutes. Not just Warcraft - MMO's, MOBA's, and Blizzard in general! And then we managed to discuss some actually important subjects that involve the tragic deaths of both wrestling legend Chyna and music icon Prince, as well as the government changing the way United States currency looks.

Tanner Thursday - It's Edutainment!

The Man Himself is on break this week, so we forego the paranormal and unexplained (except for a certain river beast!) to present an hour of laughs and insight on the difference in TV for a generation of kids. Seanán, Ethan, Jesse, and Lindsey also discuss Overwatch outrage, and ask if we are coddling a new culture of weak stomached children.
